Mountaineer Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 I am looking for ideas on how to start a model car club, there are no clubs in my local area nor have I ever been part of a club. I have done some light research on the internet. Any help with ideas and things I need to known would be much appreciated. Thanks George Booth
Mercman Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 George, put a poster up at the local hobby shop with the info about the club. List name, and contact number if you want, or place where you are going to meet. Keep the rules simple, but try to have some kind of structure for your meetings. Mercman
KateSimon Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 That's the really good idea to attract the people to join your club.....! Kate Simon ______________________________________ Houston Limousine Rental Services Houston Airport limo Services
Eshaver Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 George, in addition to just hobby shops , try all the craft shops , doll house shops and even I P M S .... yeah , they're a bunch of airplane builders , still you can spark intrest from the car people who have heard every horrifying tale of Japanise helecopter kits . Also since warm weather is comming , visit a few Cruise nights , yep print flyers advetising the desire to get a club together . Put them where car people gather . You'll be suprised as to who shows up . Ed Shaver
