voljeepx Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 This is my 1941 Chevrolet I built for the farm truck build-off. It was a blast doing a weathering job as it has been a while since I have done one! I used Sophisticated Finishes rusting set and Krylon paints. Alot of chalks and Tamiya weathermaster kits as well. Thanks to everyone over at the farm truck thread, it was a blast being able to do this with all of you and I look forward to seeing your completed trucks! Let's take a look: Thanks for looking, c&c always welcome!
Guest Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 It always amazes me how you guys make em look so beat up! Great work! Hows about some engine and chassis pics?
voljeepx Posted December 2, 2009 Author Posted December 2, 2009 Thanks, Lee! I will post some engine and chassis shots tonight, and thanks for checkin' it out!
Greg Cullinan Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Man those Chevys just don't hold up under work conditions. Lol. Looks great. I would imagine its harder to make a model look aged then new. Thanks
Harold Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Now that looks like the farm trucks I used to see around the Thumb when I was a kid. They were farm implements, and were treated as such. Great work.
