charlzrocks Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Here is my final attempt at a candy paint job! It came out much darker than the photos let on. However, I am satisfied with it at any rate! The Testors cans are just waaay too much of a major inconvenience and the paint nozzles suck. That said, it was so much fun to build this kit that I got another one on the way!
Custom Hearse Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 AWESOME!!! You did a heck of a job on that Charles! The whole build came out beautifully!
charlzrocks Posted December 3, 2009 Author Posted December 3, 2009 Wow, Thanks! My favorite part of the build? The blue detailer in the middle of the knock-offs!
Greg Cullinan Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Definately a cool subject which went together very nice. Its nice to see something a little different once in awhile. Paint looks good. Thanks
Raul_Perez Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Very cool!! I really like seeing build-ups of show cars and concept cars!! Thanks for sharing,
Eshaver Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Charles , I bet Daryll is proud of you ! Then too, I bet Dennis Doty would like to see this one . He published the old Model Car Journal back in the 1980's . He writes now for Collectable Automobille Magazine . He was always in love with the Predicta as he did an extensive article on that car once . Ed Shaver

Yes thanks again y'all, glad ya like it! Raul will be pleased when I post the Beatnik Bandit II in the next few days as well......I always liked the custom rods....reminds me of when I went to the World of Wheels custom auto shows as a kid in Milwaukee. I was in heaven at those shows! Mr. Gustafson has a site dedicated to the Predicta......... http://www.thepredictaproject.org/ the engine in the kit is not the same configuration as on the site, but it still looks cool!
