"Real" wire wheels

MAS and Replicas and Miniatures company of Maryland both offer photoetched wire wheels for the front of early dragsters. MAS has a website, but i don't have a link. R&McoMd is strictly a mail order company. look up TxRats latest project for some pics of the MAS wheels assembled.

Chris Garcia in California does hand made wire wheels. I've been to his shop and have a set on order. They're not cheap, but they are exquisit. His E is "woodythx138@mlode.com.

Hey Rick, the wheels that Chris makes, are they the really skinny "bicycle" type spoke wheels found on older dragsters? Can you give me a ballpark figure on how much they cost?

Very cool, buuuuuuuuuut, i'm too lazy to do that if theres something out there that's easier! LOL

Thanks for the info though!

Yeah theres easier , but the photoetch looks thin like paper.. even tho they are better than the Kits .. wire wheels are round wire not flat sheet.
