Wacky Racer..

This was done as part of a group build elsewhere,the idea being based on the Wacky races cartoon.

The rules were simple,spares box or scrap/junk kits and parts.No new stuff whatsoever apart from sheet styrene. ;D

I used the hull and turret from a Walker bulldog tank,a wing section,both engines and the tail from a P.B.Y.5.A. Catalina.I cut down a Mustang shell and grafted it onto the hull,the Catalina wing tips were fitted too.These mean that it can do short airborn hops and the floats drop down combining with the front roller...So it is amphibious too.

It was also a good testbed for an airbrush that I bought recently as I could practice without mucking a decent build up. :'(

Hiya Paul,yes Skid is here..Doesn't post much though.We tend to stay in the 'usual' place LOL
