He thats lookin really good! like the plumbing work you did on the motor. Might try that myself on the Kenworth W900 logger Im workin on. What did you use to plumb it with?

I used different gauges of electical wire that was solid core so I could bend it where I needed too.

Great job, Ryan. My uncle own his own logging truck company. I know its a little late, but I would add a third axle on the tractor. Those are very common up here.

I am working on a drop axle for my other truck but this one I am trying to keep true to the origenal so no drop for it.

Ryan,

Here are some tips, Tim gave me while I was working on my Freightliner. This should help you out if you are uncertain about painting the stripes.

Nice.

On the stripes, once you lay down the masking tape, spray or bush a light coat of the main color that is being masked (in your case red and white) along the edge of the masking tape. This will help prevent any bleed under by the stripe color.

As for the stripe peeling off, was there an extended period of time between painting and removing the masking?

The masking should be pulled off after the paint becomes tacky. If you let the paint cure before removing the masking, the paint will peel easier.

Tim
