gixermarc Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 hi i am new to the forum but have been building and driving truck's for a number of years now i would like to share some pictures of my models with you and would like to hear your comments on them this one is an ertl 4300 which started life as a unit but had a spare tipper body so thought why not makes a change from building tractor units and trailers as you can see its had a hard life and with the help of my daughter's katie and shania who made the rubbish bags for me (thank's girl's x)i also fitted led's so that all the light's work look forward to your comment's thank's
Jason Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 Outstanding craftsmanship! I love the weathering! Looking at the pictures a good backdrop and it would probably pass for real. I feel sorry for the old girl she looks used and abused, very nice touch!

The pics are a little big and pixelated, but from what I can see, she looks real nice, I ve wanted to do some light work, its nice to see one all lit up. The trash bags and rubbish are a nice touch. I agree with Jason, in the right setting, she'd pass for the real deal. Tim

Tim i agree the pictures are not very good i am trying to do some better ones today if i can sort them ill put them on im planning on doing a diaroma soon for it once i can sort the picture problem ill add some of my other truck's and thank's again for the comment
