our club is in kernersville.there are clubs in high point,salisbury and the conover/newton area.there is a club in charlotte,the road knights mcc.i'm not sure of any mcc in your area.you could check to see if there is a ipms club in your area.click on the link in my signature to check out more info on our club.

you've probably gotten this information already, but here goes -

the Western North Carolina Model Car Club was alive & well the last time I was in asheville - jun 2008. they were meeting in a hobby shop (that I've forgotten the name of........) on the last thursday of the month. a fellow by the name of kelly coonts (sorry if I really botched your name kelly) invited me by email, after I asked the same question on another board. I was in town on other biz, so I took a couple of my build-ups with me.
