Terry Jessee Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 This is Revell's snap Impala with Chimneyville decals. As long as I was painting the Newport, I went ahead and did this, too. LAPD only used these on a trial basis, and only about 25 cars. They stayed with Crown Vics at the time. They are using new Impalas now, I guess. Terry
Custom Hearse Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Looks good Terry! The paint looks perfect. What decals would you recommend for the Dodge Magnum? I've got the body painted, but I have no idea what department still has that car. Here's a pic... Thanks for any help...
RodneyBad Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 I don't know what it is But I love the looks of a Good Black and White paint job. Should be a law that 90% of all Police cars must be Black & White. (unless uncover of course) Too many Sneakie Petes around my Area.. Looking great..

You might check on copcar.com to see what they may have. As far as decals, how about doing a "concept" and use any B&W department you want? Terry Thanks for any help...

I think you will have to decal yours on faith instead of accuracy
Custom Hearse Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 The one behind it. TJ Thanks Terry! Yeah, I'll probably do a Concept... Maybe if I can find a set of Dodge decals that they used on the test car, That could be cool... Thanks again!
Custom Hearse Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 I think you're safe to freelance since your model is a 6.1 SRT-8...no police departments would be using those! Hmmm... It is only a model.
