karbuildr Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 This is the AMT Concept Camaro kit, painted with House of Kolor Bittersweet 2, with Shimrins clear. Nice kit, relatively easy to assemble with no major fit issues.
Railfreak78 Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Nice color choice and I really like the touch of white in the interior. It reflects on the older models. Nice to know it went together well as I have thought about getting one of these so thanks for sharing
charlzrocks Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 (in my best Homer Simpson voice) OOooooooo...Pretty!
karbuildr Posted January 28, 2010 Author Posted January 28, 2010 Thanks everyone for the kind words. Railfreak, only one caveat with the kit, the outside rear view mirrors are very fragile, even after being glued to the body. Just use a little extra caution if you attach them before painting as mine snapped off twice after painting the body. Next time, I'll use some thin brass rod to super glue them to the body before painting.
Jared Roach Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 (edited) Looks good. I like the color. I prefere the revell snap kit over the amt, I've built both, the revell just looks better I think, And with some paint and detail it will look just as good as the amt. But good job. The revell one is in my avatar. Edited January 28, 2010 by bowtiebadboy333
