Duplicolor over plastikote?

Question on behalf of a friend: Has anyone sprayed Duplicolor clear over Plastikote paint? Both spray cans. I guess it would be ok since the plastikote is acrylic lacquer and it's pretty tough, but I'm not sure. I suggested to try it on a scrap piece first, but I'd like to know if anyone here has done it.

I have done it several times. I also spray Dup. Clear over Krylon, Tamiya and Testors lacquers.
