speedy5963 Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 (edited) Good evening all, I thought I would post some pics of my daughters Predicta that she has been working on. She wanted to build something different but not too difficult so I thought this would be a good kit. She found a write up in a Rod and Custom I had that showed one of the re do's of this car and she has been trying to make it similiar. The paint is TruBlue Pearl and the inside is Snow white pearl base. The kit is built basically box stock with the exception of the steel wheels from an AMT 53 Ford Truck kit. It has been fun and she has learned some of the frustrations of modeling with this one Enjoy the pics. Edited February 21, 2010 by speedy5963
Mooneyzs Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 Paul that turned out great. Your daughter did an awesome job on the kit. Many props to her. Let her know I think the car is beautiful.
RodneyBad Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 Great looking Predicta.. She's got a good Eye.
speedy5963 Posted February 16, 2010 Author Posted February 16, 2010 Thank you Chris and Zukiholic...Lani was getting kind of flustered today while holding the link piece in place that hooks under the interior pan for the steering rod to set. After that I mocked everything up and it made her feel good for taking the time in holding those pieces while the epoxy set
speedy5963 Posted February 21, 2010 Author Posted February 21, 2010 (edited) My daughter completed her Predicta, it came out very nice, certainly a few flaws but it was a great learning experience! Edited May 17, 2010 by speedy5963
RodneyBad Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 It looks soo good I went out and found one to build one day.
