This build is a mash of three different trucks. It was originally meant to be the closest approximation my skills would allow of my 1:1 '90 F/S GMC Jimmy.

Currently it has an opening hood, ps-ds doors, tailgate. The suspension is leaf spring and flexes, and it has cross-over steering. The rear bumper has D rings on it and the hitch is removable.

I'm looking for some input, this project has been essentially at this point for more than a year. I added the skid plates today, and put a coat of primer on the body to see what other body work needs to be done.

I'm trying to think of a way to make/replicate a steering box so the steering wheel will work.

I'm fairly happy with the truck, any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.

Revell "Mad Mudder" (1:24 - 76 or so Chevy K5)

- Body tub, some transmission tunnel, rear quarters, doors, tail gate, bed, misc. small pieces.

AMT 1984 GMC Short Bed pickup. (1:25)

- Rocker pannels, front fenders, hood, inner front fenders, grill (not close to my '90 unfortunately), misc. small pieces.

AMT 1990 AMT Chevrolet Sportside Pickup (1:25)

- TBI engine w/ serpentine belt (changed to reflect my Jimmy's routing), manual transmission, other possible parts.

Anyways here's the pics;

350 CUI TBI Chevy small block. A/C, alt, power steering, oil cooler, spark plug wires, headers and glass packs. My first deviation from life - I like my nice quiet manifolds and somewhat quiet mufflers. I'll probably be getting quieter mufflers at some point. The wires hanging off the front are the brake lines (need body to finish plumbing). Rad is going to have electric fan. Need more flat black to touch up the glue gloss.

Under carrage, with *bling bling* skid plats. Rear skid plate incorporates a driveshaft hoop too.
