Question re: allan moffat collection

Hi,

I have a question re: a model car (1:18)

Apparently it is part of the allan moffat collection (model 5) and is a 1977 ATCC, XB Falcon GT Coupe - it is 1 of 6000, the car is numbered as being #6 in the collection however the certificate is numbered #5, then there is a signed note explaining that the error was not noticed until all 6000 items had been signed and allan moffat was not prepared to resign another 6000. Does anyone know if this is true and if so what happened or where I could find out.
