Junkman Posted March 25, 2010 Share Posted March 25, 2010 A Max Wedge is in the AMT 49 Mercury. It's a RB, so it's a 413 if you say it's a 413. Slant Sixes are in the Lindberg Mopars. They are Hyper Paks if you say they are. The Sono-Ramic was in the Jo-Han 1968 Chrysler 300 of all things, and in the AMT 62 Imperial, equally of all things. Ken Posted March 25, 2010 Share Posted March 25, 2010 I think the MPC/AMT 28 Model A Ford had the 413 in it as well. I know it has a Mopar big block as one of the engine options. [anorak mode] The Max Wedge package, which included many drivetrain and chassis modifications, was available in all 1962, 1963 and 1964 B-body Dodges and Plymouths (330, 440, '62 Dart, Polara, Polara 500, Savoy, Belvedere, Fury, Sport Fury), except 1962 station wagons. Dodge called the package "Ram-Charger 413/426", Plymouth called it "Super Stock 413/426". Only in 1962 it had 413 cubic inches, for 1963 and 1964 it was enlarged to 426 cubic inches. The Hyper Pak was a parts package made available from 1960 through 1962 at Chrysler Corporation dealer parts counters. It could be installed into any car running a slant six. The Sonoramic Commando engine was available in 1960-61 Plymouth Furys only. The same engine was called differently, when used in other Chrysler products. The RB (“raised B”) arrived just one year after the launch of the B series engines, with the 413; just as all the B-engines had a 3.38-inch stroke, all the RB engines had a 3.75 inch stroke. B Engine: Bore Stroke CID 4.06" 3.375" 350 4.12" 3.375" 361 4.25" 3.375" 383 4.34" 3.375" 400 RB Engine: Bore Stroke CID 4.18" 3.75" 413 4.25" 3.75" 426 4.32" 3.75" 440 4.03" 3.75" 383 See, a B as well as a RB 383. The 383 cubic inch RB engine was only available in 1959-1960 in the US built Chrysler Windsor and Saratoga. [/anorak mode] Gosh, did I tell you guys already that I am NOT a Mopar man? I would love to see some pics of your Cordoba!!!!. yes 340 the cost of fuel. and such. but I like the torque from a 340 I thknk my dad Cordoba had a 360 in it . but not sure.
