redcap341 Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 (edited) Hey everyone, I have a question about automotive primers. I would like to start using them because they are a lot cheaper than the hobby store primers. My question is I use a lot of model master acrylics and some enamels, so does the primer have to be lacquer acrylic based,or enamel? to work with my acrylics? I know you cant paint certin paints over others etc. Any help would be appreciated as I am new to model building. Thanks Justin Edited March 29, 2010 by redcap341

MikeMc Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 All I use is automotive lacquer primers under everything. I do use and love future..but only use it on colored plastic bodies as a barrier.
