steven Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Hi everyone I am currently working on the Revell Peterbilt snap together 359 and I have a few questions. First I really dont like the look of the sleeper steps are these accurate for this vintage Peterbilt ? I am so tempted to remove them. The second Question According to Paul a old Unique trucker , I unload his newspaper roll truck once a month Paul says The Peterbilt engines those years were actually more grayish than white. What is a good color match for what I will call Peterbilt engine white ? Thanks in advance.
whale392 Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 By the time the kit in question was issued (early 1980s), the CAT 3406 should have been New Cat Yellow.
SpreadAxle Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Although rare, the steps on the sleeper were available on the 359.
mackinac359 Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 The steps are slightly off in shape and were available for a while in the early 80s. I think they look best removed. Tim
whale392 Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 ^^^This guy would know if it deals with Peterbuilt!^^^

mackinac359 Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 Yes. White. Some paint books actually have "PACCAR White" listed. Tim
