Retired and wanting something to do I started building models, became hooked on 1/8 scale because it made detailing easier. Then along came the TDR gang with their variety that made real detailing possible for my limited shop capabilities. Here are some pictures of my builds. If anyone is interested in a particular model I could go further into its build details. Unfortunately posting images here does not allow for proper titling but in my gallery album titled Random Builds they are better named.

I am just learning how to use the features of this site. One of the TDR models I left off the above list was the Jaguar. It was mentioned in another link but I will post the image here as I learn how to use forums, galleries and Foti.

Syd has been a good friend of the TDR family. He has been responsible for testing and building several of our kits. As you can see from his pictures, he is big on detail. As an example, check out the bushings on the front suspension A arms and the detailing on the Jag engine. Look closley at the photos and you'll see lots more of the great work that Syd does.

On another thread someone asked what you do with the TDR engines after you make them. Well they all, even the elephant, fit a Deuce model chassis. Might have to do a little tinkering as I did find scratch building the motor mounts fun. Then you might even go whole hog and put all the TDR stuff into just the Deuce frame rails as I did below. This model has the blown Hemi 426, Muncie 4 speed, IFS, IRS, rack and pinion steering, wheels and tires all from TDR. It is still in work so there are a couple of wires holding things in place for moving around the model.
