B_rad88 Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 (edited) I am doing a vinyl top on my 69 Nova and need to do a fillet on the ribs on the top and wonder if white glue would work? well personally, i would say no, white glues shrinks, but if its a small tiny line, then try it, if it doesn't work, the glue peels right off again. well the glues peels off for me. the only thing i mainly use white glue for is to glue clear parts. edit: if your trying to fill it in, then try this, i haven't yet, but i heard its good: HOW TO (QUICK ONE): MAKING PLASTIC FILLER i hope that helps. Marc @ MPC Motorsports Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Len, do you have a picture of what you are trying to replicate?
Len Woodruff Posted April 17, 2010 Author Posted April 17, 2010 (edited) Marc I don't have one of the body I am doing but here is a reference pic from another buidler. When doing the vinyl roof the inside of the vinyl is where it over laps and is where I need the fillet. The out side edge is straight not rounded. Edited April 17, 2010 by Len Woodruff
