crazyjim Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 I posted in progress pics and here's the completed build - HOK candy red pearl over a gold basecoat; polished aluminum exhaust; painted wheel spokes to resemble magnezium; used the Ford engine option with parts box air filter; liberal amounts of Detailer red wash on the grille, valve covers, and air filter; black chrome BMF on the running boards.
RJWood Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 The paint is beautiful. Looks good in candy. I like the wheels on it too. Very nice 5 window. I love these Revell '32 kits. Hope you do a few more.
crazyjim Posted April 20, 2010 Author Posted April 20, 2010 Thanks Ron. I have a couple more of the Revell coupes to build. I've learned from this one and will make some changes/improvemnets on the next one.

Greg Cullinan Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 (edited) Nice coupe. The trunk looks good as does everything. Glad to see your using the airbrush. That's a sharp red too. Edited April 21, 2010 by ponyxpress
crazyjim Posted April 21, 2010 Author Posted April 21, 2010 I'm loving the airbrush. It's so much better thna the rattle cans. I need to order more paint from TCP Global.
oldscool Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Oh yeah! You can't go wrong with a candy red Deuce. oldscool
Sixties Sam Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Oh yeah! You can't go wrong with a candy red Deuce. oldscool Yeah, what he said! Beautiful rod!
crazyjim Posted April 22, 2010 Author Posted April 22, 2010 Thank you guys. Appreciate the positive feedback. I think the coupe will look good in a street diorama - all I have to do is build one like Sam's.
