Ramble Tamble Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 hey guys I was wondering if anyone had ideas on how to scratch build car trailers for models. I tried making a trailer out of BIC pen shafts and other parts for the frame but it took on a very nonrealistic appearance and it is kind of clunky and stupid looking hehe. I used popsicle sticks for the ramps and deck but I had a hard time sticking it together with the rest of the plastic. Anyways, I hope maybe someone has some good trailer building ideas! thanks guys.
TSK Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Evergreen scale models makes a line of styrene plastic sheets, strips, rods, tubes, channels, angles, I beams, H beams and more for scatch building. A good set of plans and a collection of the shapes you need should get you started in the right direction. http://www.evergreenscalemodels.com/
Jairus Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Why build it when you can buy one of these and modify it to what you want? http://www.galaxielimited.com/trailers.html
