Well here is the Sleeper Cab and floor extension for the 50 F-8 "Big Job"

I do not have it on my site yet. I am waiting till the mold for the widened 50 Ford F-1 fenders is done. Should get the first one popped out tomorrow morning. Then the "Big Job" will be DONE!

This cab will work nice for doing a cool street rob extended cab version of the 50 Ford F-1 from Revell. So it is not JUST for the big rig builders.

This cab was mastered by Dave Bell of Peoria Az.

I was so happy with how this cab turned out. I just had to post.

This cab and the wide F-8 fenders are now avalable on my site in the "Classic Heavy Truck" section. The cab is also listed on the second page of the "Conversion Kits" section.

Thanks for your support.

Here is a pic of the master by Dave Bell, of the wide fender section. I will have a pic of the resin part on my site very soon.

Excellent!!!

Does the fender come with the wider front grill? (f7 and f8's had wider grilles than the f1-6)

I was going to cast that but all you need to do is take the grill from the F1 kit. Cut the headlights from the grill. Then insert the headlight from the rear through the headlight holes in the resin front end. The grill mounts in through the front. It looks great. I will have a built up here in about a week. They guy that mastered this for me, Dave Bell, is building it right now.

Didn't you build an F-8 and have it on your Fotki site along with a bunch of other photos for F-7 and F-8s?

Be sure to check out my site with all of these parts to build an F-8. It is in the "Classic Heavy Truck" section.

Excellent! Cant wait to see the buildup! And very clever! on the grill part, never would have thought of that.

Yes I do have one. My only intentions were to master up the fender /grill portion and make it work for the Ford L series truck chassis from AMT. Its on the back burner..but the reference pics still exist on my fotki

Yea, I seen all of your ref pics on there. You have got allot of nice stuff on there. Nice models too. Dave Bell did this master very much like how you did your fenders. Wait till you see what else I will be adding over the next few days that will go with this F-8 resin.

Thanks

Matt
