Here's the Revell '66 Impala with the body now painted. The paint is Tamiya gloss aluminum topped with Tamiya clear. I used Micro-Mesh pads and tamiya polish to smooth it out.

Tom, as usual that's a beautiful paint job! B)

I think I'll snag one of these down the road, as I like what they did with this one better than the '65. :lol:

Very nice man, I just got one at our show this past weekend, debating between building the Arnie Beswick Catalina and this one...... :)

NICE choice of color. Choosing an appropriate color for a 60's 'big car' can be tough I just sprayed a '66 Impala kit today. After much consideration, I chose 'Pure Ice' brand nail polish......the color is called 'First Time', and is a beautiful sage green pearl. I'll be watching this build for inspiration!

:lol: That sure is purdy!!!!!!!! I really like that colour! So what colour is the interior going to be? Black? White? Burgundy? Or blue? A vinyl top would really be befitting of that car.. It's looking REALLY good! I'll be watching this one.
