Was wondering which type of materials were used for cab was it aluminuim or steel know hoods were fiberglass unless wrong. Any help with be great thanks in advance steve.

I'm pretty sure the cabs are all aluminum as well as the sleepers. Here is a link to Western Star's website section called "Star Facts"

It will give you all the info you need. I just checked it while posting this, and quickly found the cab and sleeper are aluminum and hoods are fiberglass.
