AMT For Sale??

I was in my local hobby shop the last week and the owner was saying that he heard that the AMT part of RC2 was up for sale. He said further that if no buyer was found that RC2 would drop the product line.

This is discussed under "rants and raves" and has been discussed at great length for the past two weeks on various forums. Basically RC2 is dropping diecast and model cars because their costs are going up while product sales are going down. It is HOPED that a buyer will step up and take over the products. RC2 stated that things will remain the same for 2007 but no car model products after that.
