NitroJunky Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 (edited) I am new to the forum, I found the forum while searching google for 1/16th dragster parts. Had a look around and i was impressed with site and decided to join. I have been building models since my early teens but over the last 10 years i have been building alot more detailed models. Recently i have been collecting 1/16th kits. My latest model is Gene Snow's " The Snowman" FC. A few pics of it next its modern counter part. Due to the age of the kit the front tyres were shot beyond use. unfortunatly drag racing model parts are not as coomon in the Uk as the USA and i have been struggleing to find replacement front tyres. However after a little searching around i found that a pair of matchbox/amt 1/25th kenworth truck tyres are just about the right size for the front rims. I know they are not exactly true but until suitable replacements are found i will live with them. One the bodyshell if ready for paint i will be using a 2k candy red over a suitable red base and a 2k HS lacquer. Edited June 15, 2010 by NitroJunky
