69 Ford Torino Talledega - -June 22 Update! - -

Hey guys, been a while since I have been here. I bought a Torino (the Revell kit), and I have planned some things out on it.

I have been tossin the idea around of putting some Pegasus Torqe Thrusters and Calipers, doing a one tone deep, deep purple pearl over flat black, and it is spraying wonderfully on this awesome 25 degree (celcius) day. very smooth. and way, with the pearl over black, its has just that purple mettalic effect. I only ave pictures of the engine here, i will get more tonight, did alot of painting!

UPDATE!

Chassis Painted

to scale, 4 ½ “ exhaust tip, made by me by cutting a bit of aluminum tube, and sanding it to the desired exhaust tip angle, and taking a q-tip with most of the fuzz removed, dipping it in flat black, rubbing it on the inside, and calling it good.

I painted the body, as well. Pactra R/C Lacquer over John Deere Muffler Black. They sprayed very well, as the can of black was in a car outside in the sun for a week or 2 lol.

the paint went a bit retarded on the seats, but it still looks pretty cool. It is body color, with dull cote over top of it.

if you mean adding the silver details, that has been done, i will try get some clearer pics, im not really sure how to get better ones tho i mean, i just got a brande new camera, which is a good one.. but yeah, gotta discover some things yet.

okay, th small but big update is.... 2-tone! i did flat black on the bottom. since these pictures, i have painted the trim silver ( to cheap to use BMF) and given a silver line to seperate the black and purple.

I have somethings to say about this.

I now have a silver stripe between the 2 tone, I have a ford SVT gt500 engine, and I have found some wheels from a coronet kit. I however do not have any pictures. My camera was taken by my brother.
