Cuthbert Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Friends While finishing a Fisher model Cunningham C4R I dropped one of the very small tail lamps lens provided in the kit. A thorough search of the shag rug under the desk did NOT turn up the lamp. For days I wondered what to do. Then EUREKA it came to me. I have 1/8" aluminum rivets. I chucked one up on my Unimat lathe and scribed a line on the button of the rivet, then polished what can be the chrome base to separate the polished ring from a red painted lens. Then I dipped it into liquid future. This is going to look very much like a sweet round tail lamp. Regards Twillie
