Here's what I thought should have been released by Pontiac for the 2011 model year.

The Trans Am!

Based on the Concept Camaro snap kit, and the Monogram 70 1/2 Trans Am.

You did a heck of a job integrating the old skool features into the new design. I'm not digging the little "kick up" of the rear as seen from the side but hey what do I know.

I think the color scheme makes this a standout.

Sweet. Did you base it on the Lingenfelter design that was in Hemmings Muscle Machines a few issues ago?

Lee-No, I started this I think about 1.5 to 2 years ago...just built what I thought, not based on anything else. I saw a similar one online sometime after I'd decided my direction.

Cool "what if" build, Tony! What did you think of of the camaro snapper? I'm thinking of picking one up for another project.

The Camaro snap is real good detail-wise for a snap. 4 screws in the chassis (I covered the holes with round sheet styrene plugs), but good detail. Goes together well.
