Len Geisler Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 Guys...I am preparing the parts to build a 1986-7 Monte Carlo SS Drag car. It is going to be factory stock, with factory block, auto trans, maybe some gears. I am not going all out on this one, I am using my memories of a car that ran at E-Town when I was a youngin... What I'd like to know is what class designation should be on the window? Thanks in advace for any input!!!! ps: Still working the "Extreme-National" Project too...

dencon Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 Sounds like you want to build a Stock Eliminator car. Not an SSer. Super stock would be tubed with 13 inch wide slicks. here is a pic I took back in 05. This was Pro Stock driver, Jason Line's dad's car. I did not get a pic of the engine, but it would look very much like this. This is the engine in Jody Lang's m/sa 80 Malibu wagon. A very winning car in Div 6 and 7.
