outlaw035 Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 hi all u plasticoholic...im working on my 41 chevy for the JWAC...im trying to put a wash on the big chrome grill...the space between the grille is wider the most grills so the wash is just collecting int the corners...is there anything else i could use to black'n out the in between section...thanks...neal
LoneWolf15 Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Neal. You can also use a rapidioliner pen , or an india ink marker. These are also water soluble and can be found at art supply or fabric stores.
vaughn Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Being too picky.....thicken your blackwash just a little......just a little and dip your brush back into the black and then the blackwash. Its not rocket sience. Experiment !!! It will be ok. goodluck
Stang67 Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 Here's a trick...Use artist's oil base paint and make it thick then wait till it's almost dry then wipe it off.
