horsepower Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 (edited) Don't see a photo. Don't see a review. ????????? gotta look close Harry, the photo's there, but it does need a review to go along with it .This must be a later 427, as my memory thinks the early ones had iron heads, am I going senile? Harry P. Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 ok, now I see a photo... but the review must have been posted with invisible letters! Just going by the photo, it looks like a real nice kit.
Greg Myers Posted July 22, 2010 Author Posted July 22, 2010 No Picture ? No review ? Just wanted to give a heads up on a new kit. I haven't seen one in person, but I do have all the rest built up. My only disappointment was their continuing series on the HEMI when they did the A990 in 1/4th scale instead of the 1/6th scale. That and the fact that 1/6th scale is not compatible to anything with wheels, I.E. the Monogram Hot Rods.
Harry P. Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 No Picture ? No review ? Just wanted to give a heads up on a new kit. Well, seeing as how this is the New Kit Reviews area, I was sort of expecting a review. No big deal...
Greg Myers Posted July 22, 2010 Author Posted July 22, 2010 So, then what you are saying is you would rather NOT hear about a new kit if there is no review attached to it ? I just happened upon this at the manufactures site and thought others would be interested . I am sorry if I have breached MCM protocol. Is there a more favorable place to post such information?

Just going by the photo, it looks like a real nice kit. A picture is worth 1,000 words and the engine in the picture looks good to me. I would rather have a review with pictures and no words than a review with words and no pictures. I guess technically this would fall under new kit annoucements. we really don't have a dedicated section for that unless it should go under general. Personally I think it best fits here. I would rather have a review with pictures and no words than a review with words and no pictures. A picture alone isn't a review. If it was, we could just show you photos of the kit parts in the magazine's "Kit Reviews" column and save Larry Greenberg a lot of time!
jbwelda Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 i would actually rather have it be 1/8th scale so you could do something with it besides build it as a stand-alone model! but thats probably just me. would be nice to have those speed parts in 1/8 though.
