I'm a new member on this forum as of today , so I apologise if this is topic has already been addressed .

I'm wondering if there are any model car clubs in the Murrieta , Ca. area ?

It's not strictly a model car club, but the first Saturday of every month is the Temecula Valley Model Club meeting at Hobbytown in Temecula. While there are guys that build everything, there are a growing number of car builders that attend. Your post is a little old, so you may have found us already, but here's the link to our meetup page.
