I recently picked up a kit of garage tools and various garage "stuff". I would like to build a garage diorama, mostly for the purposes of taking pictures of my models. Only thing is, I don't know what to use for the walls and floor, I was thinking of that foam posterboard stuff, what do you guys use, and how do you hold it all together? Im trying to keep this on the cheap by the way.

I made a photo booth from Elmers foam board, held together with packing tape on the outside. You can use various acrylic paints to detail it.

I used sheets of plastic (shower tub wall) that a friend gave me (never used in a tub!). Was great for basic stock. Glued some printed cement blocks on, and I use it as a photo back stop for my models. I have work to do on the interior still, which is great cause you can do a bit at a time as the feeling strikes. You can check my PhotoBucket album-link on my sig if you'd like ( there are build shots there too of my garage dio in the Speed Shop album).

Great tip's Ill have to see what materials I can find for nearly nothing, I might even have something lying around the house, now that I know what I'm looking for, it'll be easier to find it. Thanks to all for the help!

Styrfoam packing pieces(the squares and rectangle ones) for walls and floors. Once painted, they sorta resemble concrete or cement walls. You can groove the ends out to connect to one another. Light weight and cheap.
