justin2020 Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 Here is what I worked on last night I think I got off to a good start. Today I will be filling and sanding to make it look straight. Duntov Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 Justin: Nice touch on the integrated lake pipes....very clean and very subtle touch.....nice build.......keep itgoing!!! Regards Bill (Duntov)
Modlbldr Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 Justin- I like the work you're putting into this one. I always have had a hard time with chopping tops. It's a lot of work to get a good looking top. Your process is just like the way I did it on my 55 Ford pickup. Keep it going and let us see the progress. Later-
justin2020 Posted August 1, 2010 Author Posted August 1, 2010 Here is another update on this project. I can not believe how long and time consuming it is to do tuck in roll. It took almost as long to do it as it did the chop. http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=0Eat3LdwxYsWHl&emid=shareprintviewer&linkid=link5&cid=EM_sharview
crazyjim Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 Very interesting build. Worth watching the progress.
W-409 Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 Nice job with chopping a top you did! That's not so easy as it looks like, I chopped '49 Mercury, and it was everything but easy...! But back to your nice build, I think those lake pipes are just perfect choice to it, where are they from...?
