Guest zebm1 Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Last night in tha "Vintage Roofs" posting, I described what we old timers used to do with tha old coupes, modifying them into modified racers. So I did sum websurfing and found a group of dedicated folks up in tha NW region of our country that are still doing tha same as we did. We would have called these "Sportsman Modifieds" because they are powered by 6 cyl. engines. So I thought I'd show this eclectic group a little of what we did, that these guys do better. They are known as "The Old Timers Racing Association." 8) 1928 Plymouth coupe 1928 Whippet 1929 Chrysler coupe, isn't tha radiator kool? 1929 REO coupe 1931 Plymouth coupe 1932 Chrysler coupe 1933 Chevy coupe 1933 Chevy coach 1933 Dodge coach some pics of how they build them these days and tha racers in action I hope yall enjoyed this trip down Memory Lane, as much as I did. Zeb
