Ben Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Hey Ben I'm going to shoot them with Alclad polished aluminum along with the fuel tanks and battey boxes,as for tires I'll buy some from Jamie later this year , he really does make awesome tires.I just need one more set of decals for this truck any help ? Your ten holes are by far the best ones I've ever seen, can't wait to paint them! Those are kit decals, right? I don't have that version of the FLC. I know a couple places that can copy those decals but they would need to still be on the sheet of course. Jerry at ModelTruckin is one. I also know a guy that makes awesome custom decals from looking at photos but it would be hard to match those stripes as far as getting the size the exact same and the colors to match. His email, if your interested, is: FasigGraphics@aol.com The guy does excellent work!!!!

Ben Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Here is what the decal sheet looks like. If your wanting direct copies of that sheet, I would suggest getting with Jerry at ModelTruckin but if your wanting changes like the flame portions removed from the stripes, I would suggest sending the sheet to Mike at Fasig Graphics.

Ben the decals on the model are very bright in color, I don't want to lose the brightness of them, thats why I'm looking for the factory sheet.

Wagoneer81 Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Sweet! Very nice Classic Freightliner! I like the decals, gives it a good nostalgic look and feel.
