bsoder Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Haven't been building anything lately, but I saw this Cobra and thought it looked really nice..and I knew I had an old Monogram Cobra 427 street kit and I knew I had some Met. British grn. paint soooo..the body took a lot of clean up and it's molded in red so I primed it with flat hunter green (after a lot of sanding and rescribing) then airbrushed the primary color applied stripes and cleared it. I wanted to match the 1:1 wheels so I took these from an old Revell diecast Cobra and modified them buttt..the fronts sit a little to wide so I might change them..or NOT..the kit 427 isn't bad, I added an oil filter, fuel pump, lines etc. for some reason the interior tub is cut for but has no door panels so I made some..I also made some inner fenders that are attached to the firewall interior section..anyways been kinda fun building something takes my mind off the rest of our problems for awhile
