Dingo Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 This rig is a sort of copy of a truck I use to drive many moons ago in the southern suburbs of my home town until it was taken over by a major oil company. The truck a Scania T144m is built from the Italeri kit and the tanker is wots left of an early to mid 70's Testor kit after one of our cats knocked it for a 6 (as we say), I was going to bin the tanker til I struck on this idea so here is the result. No the actual truck did not hve the fancy stripe work on it I put that on there just for fun. Dingo

rronning84 Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Cool looking truck. There is an awful lot of color there.
Dingo Posted September 12, 2010 Author Posted September 12, 2010 (edited) Yea rronning84 the tanks colour was red & yellow (Shell colours) so I left it as was then I painted the cab blue as that's the colour the company ran way back then from memory I'm not sure but I think the tank on the rigs where the Shell colours coz wghen Shell took over it ran those coours I drove for a short time after the takever but the then boss of the company who was a Shell man found out I din't have a DG license so I had to leave not tht I really cared they got hard to work for in th end.
