krishna.iskandana Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Hi again, This one is a 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner from revell. I changed the bench seat to racing seats, lowered the ride heights, and added engine wiring. The color is Tamiya Mica Silver. Let me know what you think and thanks for looking. Regards Krishna Iskandana Perth, Western Australia
TurboKitty Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 very nice, it reminds me of the "Hammer" '70 Plymouth Roadrunner show car:
RodneyBad Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Looks Sweeeeeeet. Nice ride. Paint and wheels look great. Great work..
Modellpularn Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Really cool!! Got to get more of those wheels, they work on lots of cars....!
pharr7226 Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Very nice build. The paint looks flawless. Nice work.
Jim0205 Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Looks good with the mods you did. Finish looks great job well done.
made007 Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 (edited) very nice, it reminds me of the "Hammer" '70 Plymouth Roadrunner show car: when i saw this car at the end of the tokyo drift movie, i wanted to build it, but the rims are nowhere to be found, i couldnt find some rims to look like that, so i didnt do it Edited September 24, 2010 by made007
Matt P Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Nice build, I really like the silver with red seats. The wheels and stance are right on.
The Modeling Hermit Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 I usually don't like the large wheels, but they blend in well with the theme of this car.
krishna.iskandana Posted May 3, 2011 Author Posted May 3, 2011 Hi again, I changed the wheels with 23" pegasus vantage in order to get closer resemblance with the real Plymouth Roadrunner " The Hammer". Regards Krishna
Harry P. Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 I like the look with the new wheels. The black centers and polished rims work well with the body color, and the slightly smaller size from what you had originally is a lot better. Nice update!
