I purchased a new Revell Mongoose kit and the body had defects, I contacted Revell and they sent me a new body but it also had defects. So to avoid further frustration I thought I would try a resin funny car body. I have seen some fantastic examples of resin bodies on this site so thought I would ask a few questions. First what do you do for windshields? all of the bodies I looked at do not come with them, I will probably buy a Vega or Monza body so using the exsisting one from the Mongoose kit is not an option. Second question is what are some of the manufacturers I should be looking at?

Thanks...DWR

Some resin F/C will come with a W/S,some not. Competition Resins has thick, but uniform flash in the window areas and when scribed out make good templates for transfer to clear plastic.(I'm not endorsing CR,just stating one of their pluses) other than that, most F/C bodies I've seen at shows seem to all be cast of decent quality.
