Guest zebm1 Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Luv tha Merc. although it ain't a true classic. Should be a 272 c.i. w/o AC, not a 260/289 w/ AC and Power Brakes. Still I vote for tha Merc, Luv tha Sunroof. 8) Zeb

JAFFA Posted February 22, 2007 Author Posted February 22, 2007 ouch! well i guess i better wach out for what im writing or posting in the future...But in my defence it was REALLY hard finding stock mercury pics out there!! Really don't know much about mercs, mostly Ford-Lincoln, Chevys and European 50's-60's Fords that iv'e worked with... And thats when it struck me how seldom ya see non-customized mercs out there, and thought it would be great if someone arranged a Stock-mercury buildoff or something, i'd sign up for it. Maybe after a couple o months of build-time ya could have a little vote for best performed build, best stock parts finding, and so on... That'b fun...
Guest zebm1 Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Hmmmmmm, stock Mercs, hmmm yu mean like this or this oops how'd that Daytona beach racer git in thar  I meant or this 8) I cruz tha web, hangin 10 all-tha-way jaffa...found this site last week http://www.seriouswheels.com/index.html why don't ya check it out......seems they have quite a few stock and radical mercury hotrods with flame paint jobs pics ta look at... sech as this little jewel   Enjoy an' have fun...... Zeb
bigphoto Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 SAAAAAAHHHHHHWWWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTT If I move right now i will surely hurt myself
bob paeth Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 I had to vote for the Merc because it lends itself to the customizers torch much easier than the Buick. bob
Yoda Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 You sure I can't pick the '49? Seriously, neither sets my heart racing, but I'll have to pick the Buick based on one detail; gotta love a car that has the model year right on the badge!
