mistermodel Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 Here's something I've been working on I'm trying to back date this autocar.I moved the kit axle and fenders forward Added a Cat from a snap pete.it fits real nice, after a bit of grinding to the lower pully, even the acar driveshart and cat upper rad hose fit. It's going to have twin intake/exhaust using acar parts
bitner Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 Looks great so far, can't wait to see the finished product. I like how you added the striping too, it's a neat combination, something you don't see everyday. I did something similar with a logging truck a few years back with the front axle. I like the axle forward style better for these trucks. Cheers: Bill
rronning84 Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 I love the ACAR logger. I saw the real truck in Toledo Oregon once when I was salmon fishing. Goodell has some nice rigs. Do you have any more pics of the truck. I love the paint on the blue and silver truck. It came out very nice on the cab. That is one thing holding me up on my Peterbilt logger. I cant get the lines crisp enough.
freightshaker Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 thats gonna look sharp in that blue and silver, looking good!
The Modeling Hermit Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 Both are impressive builds. The striping really helps to raise the detail another step.
