Engine Shot 1.

That's it for now I will post more later.

Update: I had to take out the original First shot of the engine since the glue on the header did not stick to the manifold hole, I got that problem fixed immediately after I have seen it. I will post more pic's later.

The Nova's looking nice so far, David. Keep up the nice work! :D

Oh, by the way, I'm happy to see my baby girl isn't the only one that likes model boxes as beds!

Thanks for the Comment, Yeah this kitten has been known to walk away with my Little Testors Paint bottles, the Sanding Sponge, Parts of all sizes and Paint Brushes :D , So I let her sleep in the empty box so she would leave the other stuff alone :D .

When I posted the picture and had a look at the Preview I saw were it missed and immediately corrected the problem :D , thanks, Eagle Eye man ;) .

Well since zuki beat me to it on the exhaust manifold, i wont say it again! But if ya have not built this kit, watch out for the rear tire-wheel alignment, it does not fit even in the fenders, front to back. I also had a little trouble with it hitting the inner body. The front inner fenders-engine bay can be a little tricky to get to fit right , i have built 3, and 2 of em were a little tricky. just make sure there pulled up tight to the interior, the gap there needs to be tight. The front end sits a little to high, but easy fix, if ya want to do it. Just move the mount up a little on the spindle. But maybe ya already know this? Or don't care. Either way is fine. I am no expert! Keep up the good work!

I like the color, and the build looks good so far!

Well your doing a fine job so far, and if your not to finicky about the details, then don't worry about it! Just have fun, and build it for your self, if your happy then that is all that matters. It is lookin good so far! I like that color, it looks almost black in the right light, right? Or no? I did a car that color, and it was like that. The front end on these just seems to sit to high to me. Take care.

Oh yeah, if you place it where there is not so much light it does look black, I did paint this car Chevy's Flame Red at first, then I got one little orange peel, and well I tried to get rid of it then I ran out of the paint, and when I went back to Hobby Lobby, they were out of Flame Red, so I choose the Dark Cherry Pearl, I don't know, it just seemed fitting to me, anyway, I placed the body in the Safer Paint thinner which only got rid of a coat, then after it dried I sprayed on the Dark Cherry Pearl, well I got results that I did not expect  , it really does look good in this color.

I did compare the model with pictures of Nova's on the internet, so I tried to make it as realistic as possible, so yes I do agree that the front end does sit higher than those 1:1's that I have seen online.

Yes I am enjoying as much of building this car as I can, I have only had some minor frustrations with it, but over all I think it will be worth the build. Thanks.

Yes it is the Merc from "Cobra" behind the Engine, I am using the '49 Mercury kit for that build, I still have much to do on it, The Hood Scoop is custom made by me but is not exactly how I want it, and I am also wating for parts to come in. Essentually I am just customizing the Merc to a '50 like on that movie. And though the topic is not for the Merc here is a picture of what I have so far. And thanks for the comment.

More on the Nova ss, I got the engine and Chassis put together, I am working on the interior with Funky Foam for the Carpet, and Gloss Black for the Seats.

Pic's.

Okay originally I bought my first BMF, in the form of Black chrome, and I bought it for the Mercury originally, but it would not stick to the Window seals, So I ended up using some on the Nova, This is my first attempt to use the foil and it did stick, so I ended up using it and gaining experience from my first BMF Car, Though I realize it is not perfect, I think I did pretty good on it. I took some shots here I hope that you can see it.
