crazyjim Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Hobby Lobby is having a 30% off plastic & die cast model kits that ends October 16, 2010. There's also a 40% off any one item of regular price October 11 - 16, 2010. The sale & coupon along with the 50% off coupon for Michaels any one regular item is going to force me to take a bike ride late tomorrow morning. My first project in the morning is to get shipping prices on 2 dune buggy items I sold on Ebay. I think Monday is going to be a good day - hope all of you will have a good one too!
Mr. Show Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Just got the email and coupon. Will definitely be making the 22 miles trek to Hobby Lobby. I get all my paint there since it's cheaper than anywhere else, but the model selection at my local store is sparse and the prices are pretty high. Still a great deal and I wish I hadn't already bought a an airbrush - they have a nice iwata for $117 that would be a steal with the 40% off coupon.
crazyjim Posted October 10, 2010 Author Posted October 10, 2010 I have about the same distance to Hobby Lobby & Michaels but the coupons will make the trip worthwhile (hopefully). Have you checked Chicago Airbrush for the Iwata? I bought my Paasche through them. Price was cheaper than HL with a coupon, no sales tax, and free shipping.
mikemodeler Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Their ad also said all aerosol spray paints were 25% off and I am curious to see if that applies to the Testors paints as well. Could be a good shopping week at HL & Michaels!

davyou5 Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 I went to the Hobby Lobby today, and found out that yes the Plastic and Die-cast models are on sale 30% off, Aerosol Cans were 25% off, and other hobby items that I bought were not on sale. I hope this helps some.
