Mr. Can Am Garage Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 What more needs to be said? I've been asked to photograph a local model show and see if a magazine would be interested in including said pics. in their contest coverage.
Jairus Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 (edited) Not sure what settings your camera has since all are different. Gregg always told me to shoot at the highest setting the camera has. My camera settings do not say what the pixel sizes are but rates them as SQ2, SQ1, HQ, SHQ, and TIFF. I shoot at SHQ and never had a problem. At the TIFF level I can only get 10 pictures on the card they are sooooo huge it takes a minute to load to my computer! At SHQ for my old Olympus C-4000, the resolution can be reduced to 6"x8" at 300dpi which for printing purposes is spot on. G has never complained... Edited October 15, 2010 by Jairus
Harry P. Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 For print, always use the highest quality setting your camera has.
Corvette.Jeff Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 to answer your question i entered a calendar contest and got my girlfriend to take the pics with her camera, its about 14. thats what most use for that kind of stuff i believe.
