TheCat Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 This was my first kit that I tried to make it as accurate to the real car that was available on 1970 as I can. Also painting the flat black hood was a challenge. But the kit came out pretty nice. Not 100% perfect but close enough for me. Besides I'm not building a model to be set in a museum here. Like David G says "Each kit I build is really only practice for the next one!" - So TRUE!! I even put spark plug wires on this one (Can't really see them, but they are there). I also did the brake lines detail.
Guest Sickfish Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 It's a job well done Cat... ... But whether you know it or not the kit, Revell's current '70 AAR, is not accurate or a true representation of a '70 'Cuda . Much has been said about it & I won't get into that but good on you for your build anyway! Cheers, Cliffo
Darin Bastedo Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Like sickfish said above the kit itself does have saome flaws, but your build of it looks great. I a huge 'Cuda fan and I love it!
davyou5 Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 I do like the pink color for that, I am currently building a 71', Good job for your first time trying to get on accurate.
