h3ae86 Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 (edited) This is the first model I'd ever put together. At the time I was getting bored with video games, and was watching videos of model cars on youtube, which made me want to give it a try so i bought revell's '70 chevelle 3 n 1 to start with I named it the Junkyard Hero the build was really fun and I was able to let my imagination throw up into the car. I know it looks bad but I had a fun time and I feel like I've progressed leaps and bounds sine then, and I've built 5 other models since then and I wish I could build more but with no money and no job I have to be patient until I get more. but I love building models now. also I recently tore apart junkyard hero for the engine and other parts but I'm planning on rebuilding it so it doesn't look so bad, though I'm going to stay with the junker drag car look. oversteer Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Imagination is important in life,it helps with problem solving.I'm not sure video games do that for us.I'm 41 and was around when video games came out, they were fun to play because we had nothing else like it.The thing is we were already exercising out minds and bodies with other activities.Aren't you glad you got over the hurdle of your first model?I know I was(and it was just a few hours ago)...lol. I know I'm glad I got into this hobby to exercise the creative half of my brain,it's important.Keep it up.

Looks allot better than my first build ever was, Keep up your creative talents, I would like to see more of your imagination come through. Very Cool build .
