ok check out the pics and see what can be had from a VGA cable (the one that runs from your monitor to your CPU) just cut an old one open to see what's in it.

4 small wires (spark plug wires?)

3 large wires which turn out to be shields with smaller wires inside that can be pulled out and are the same colour (hoses of some sort and battery cable?)

lots of filament wire in 2 colours and some foil that's quite thin but strong.

so find your old computers and cut open those cables and see what can be recycled.
