DRG Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 A few months ago I seemed to get several people upset over comments I made concerning work benches, stash, skills and talent. First off, I assure you no insults were intended. I was amazed at some of the great work benches, floored by the size of the stash and impressed with what I consider to be raw talent. Since then I have learned that I need to slow down, plan things out and procede carefully when building models. I caught myself rushing to get er done. I am starting work on a 1961 Chevy Impala SS 409. I am going to try to take the things I have learned, the advice I have been given and build a really great model. At least for me it will be great. Thank all of you for your help, your advice and guidence. Thank you Model Car Forum for caring about this great Hobby enough to put up this web-site for people like me. Happy Modeling.
whale392 Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 We may have disagreements here and sometimes just some all-out WTF mid-afternoon soap-opera dramafests, but we are here for the models and helping one another out. We're like the worlds largest model car club (with other modeling areas thrown in for good measure). I too learn a lot; glad that we were able to help out (and continue to help) and that you were able to positively contribute. Sharing what you have learned is one of the best things about the hobby.
